Sub Themes for Presentation
We invite all presenters to present their papers within the seven priority
sectors identified by Biwako Millennium framework for Action for Asia
and the Pacific. We will look for responses to the question below on
each issue.
What have we achieved so far?
How can we achieve those goals?
What are the lessons learnt?

set in the Biwako Millennium Framework.
Instruction for Submission of Papers and Presentations
Abstracts
• Abstracts must be written in English
• No tables graphs and references in the abstract
• Abstracts should not be more than 200 words excluding the title
• Abstract should be submitted to the conference secretariat by the
end of July 2007.
• The Scientific and Technical Committee will review all abstracts for
relevance and clarity before accepting for presentation
• Mode of presentation should be mentioned while submitting the
abstract
Article
• All presenters should provide a complete article before presenting
the paper in the conference
• Article should not exceed 900 words exclusive the title of the article
and author’s name
• The article is expected to follow the following structure
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results/finding
- Conclusion and recommendations
• The original article of the accepted abstract should be dispatched in
time so that the conference secretariat receives it by the 10th of
September 2007.
Timing for presentation
• Maximum 20 minutes shall be allowed for each presentation.
Discussion and comments follows each presentation
Poster presentation
• Participants are encouraged to bring posters along. A display board
of 3' x 5' and a working table will be made available for photos,
graphs, drawings and papers if requested in advance.
• Larger print (Font Size 28, Times New Roman) is advised for poster
presentation
