Information About Nepal
Nepal is a land locked country surrounded by India in the East,West and South; and Tibet of China in the North. Nepal is also known by the country of Everest, the highest peak of the world. Ten highest peaks of the world belong to Nepal. Although small in terms of landmass Nepal possesses some of the most outstanding bio-diversity in the world. It offers astonishingly varied topography, climate and wide variety of flora and fauna. Similarly, Nepal has more than 50 ethnic groups with their own dialects and their own distinctive cultural practices. Accordingly, Nepal has amazing cultural diversity and natural contrasts where one can experience so much variety in such a small space. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains and situated at an altitude of 1,350 meters above the sea level. The valley consists of three cities Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur having their distinct architectural and cultural value.
